Founded in 1875, Lansdowne Lawn Tennis Club (LLTC) is one of Ireland’s oldest tennis clubs and a longstanding cornerstone of the Sandymount, Ringsend and Ballsbridge communities. A competitive and social club, Lansdowne offers tennis for all levels, from beginners through to players competing at the highest level in Ireland.
Known for its welcoming culture and strong sense of community, the club runs a yearround programme of tennis tournaments and social events, helping members connect and new members feel at home. Lansdowne hosts prestigious competitions, including the East of Ireland Championship, winner of Best Open Tournament at the 2025 Tennis Leinster Awards, a Junior Open and fields teams across the DLTC leagues, providing competitive opportunities for all standards.
With10 allweather, floodlit courts, a dedicated practice area, and a contemporary clubhouse and bar, the Club offers an exceptional tennis experience - complete with one of Dublin’s finest tournament views with a backdrop of the striking silhouette of the Aviva stadium. Located in the heart of Dublin 4, Lansdowne offers an outstanding setting for both competitive and recreational players.
